What could be more fun (and worth every penny) than learning to drive your own team of sled dogs? Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest and home to over 100 rescue and second chance sled dogs. In order to generate the revenue required to provide the level of care these dogs deserve, the kennel offers year round dog sledding adventures. Winter dog sledding experiences range from 2-50 miles and include workshops where guests can try their own hand at mushing starting at $185 per person.
This half day experience provides guests with a crash course in dog sledding and then lets them put the #1 rule in dog sledding to good use "Never Let Go!" Participants will spend time meeting and greeting rescue and second chance sled dogs, learning how to harness and hitch a team and of course driving!
