With all of the news coverage focusing on the doom and gloom of the economy, I found myself daydreaming about what I would do (more specifically, where I'd go) if I had an unlimited girls getaway budget. With a little research, here are my top three picks. Let me know what you think!
Girls Getaway to NYC
Stay at the Waldorf Astoria in a luxury tower, 2-bedroom suite (sleeps 4) complete with concierge service and continental breakfast at $1,199 plus tax per night.
Dine at Tavern on the Green, a NYC landmark and the site where movies have been filmed, Broadway shows opening night receptions have been held, as well as movie premieres. With undoubtedly gorgeous views, dinner, dessert and cocktails could easily be several hundred dollars per person. Shop all along Fifth Avenue, home of Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Prada, Fendi, Harry Winston, Henri Bendel, Cartier and Versace…just to name a few.
